CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Trey Campbell delivered a strong performance for Northern Iowa, scoring 18 points and leading the team to an 82-56 victory over Western Illinois on Tuesday night.

Campbell was particularly effective, making 7 of his 12 field-goal attempts, including 4 out of 7 from three-point territory, contributing significantly to the Panthers’ efforts, which now stand at a 3-2 record for the season. Tytan Anderson also had an impressive showing, netting 17 points by hitting 5 of 8 from the field and converting 7 of 8 attempts from the free-throw line.
Additionally, Ben Schwieger added to the scoring with 13 points, making 5 of his 8 shots from the floor, including 1 for 4 from long range, and going 2 for 3 at the line.

On the opposing side, Trey Deveaux and Marko Maletic stood out for the Leathernecks, each contributing 15 points to their team’s efforts, as Western Illinois falls to a 2-3 record for the season.
