NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In an impressive performance, Tyler Lundblade contributed significantly off the bench, scoring 25 points and guiding Belmont to a solid 90-80 win against Oral Roberts on Tuesday evening.
Lundblade displayed exceptional shooting skills, making 7 out of 9 attempts from the field, which included 5 out of 7 from beyond the arc, and was perfect at the free-throw line with 6 for 6. The Bruins improved to a record of 4-1, bolstered by Jonathan Pierre’s strong showing, who netted 22 points, connecting on 7 of 16 shot attempts, including 4 three-pointers. Pierre also made a valuable contribution with 11 rebounds. Additionally, both Carter Whitt and Sam Orme contributed 11 points to the team’s effort.
On the opposing side, the Golden Eagles, now sitting at 2-3, saw their leading scorer Sam Alajiki put in a stellar performance of his own, finishing with 28 points, alongside six rebounds and two blocks.
