Alongside Coward, Dane Erikstrup added 14 points and made a notable defensive impact with five blocks. Isiah Watts provided a strong offensive spark off the bench, scoring 12 points with an efficient 4-for-6 from three-point range. Additionally, LeJuan Watts contributed 11 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, although he accounted for eight of the team’s 12 turnovers.
On the other side, Langston Reynolds was the standout for Northern Colorado, scoring 16 points. Isaiah Hawthorne recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaron Rillie chipped in 10 points along with four assists.
The shooting statistics reflected Washington State’s offensive efficiency, as they shot 56% from the field overall, including 31.8% from three-point territory (7 of 22) and 75% from the free-throw line (12 of 16). Northern Colorado managed to shoot 36.8% overall, hitting 8 of 30 from beyond the arc and converting 11 of 17 free throw attempts.
Looking ahead, Washington State is set to host Eastern Washington on Thursday, seeking to build on their recent success.
