WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he will nominate former Wisconsin Representative Sean Duffy to serve as the Secretary of Transportation. This decision is part of Trump’s ongoing efforts to unveil selections for his Cabinet.

In a statement, Trump praised Duffy, stating, “Sean will leverage his extensive experience and the numerous connections he has fostered throughout his time in Congress to enhance and refurbish our nation’s infrastructure. He will help us accomplish our goal of initiating The Golden Age of Travel, with an emphasis on Safety, Efficiency, and Innovation.” Trump further remarked, “Crucially, he will significantly improve the travel experience for all Americans!”

Duffy, who departed from Congress in 2019, is currently a co-host on Fox Business’s show titled “The Bottom Line.” Before embarking on his political career, he gained fame as a cast member on MTV’s reality series “The Real World.”
