Inglewood, California — The Los Angeles Chargers will be without linebacker Khalil Mack for their Sunday night matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a groin injury.

Mack sustained this injury during a game against the Cleveland Browns on November 3rd. Although he has not participated in practice for the previous two weeks, he did manage to play a brief four snaps during last week’s victory over the Tennessee Titans.

This marks the first game Mack has missed since he joined the Chargers in 2022. Prior to this, he had a challenging season with the Chicago Bears in 2021, where he appeared in only seven games as a result of a foot injury.

With Mack ruled out, Tuli Tuipulotu—who has made a notable contribution with 5.5 sacks over the last three games—alongside Bud Dupree, will see an increase in their playing time. The Chargers’ pass rush has been particularly effective lately, posting 18 sacks over the last three games.

On the Bengals’ side, offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. will miss his third consecutive game due to ongoing knee and leg issues, while defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins is sidelined because of illness.

Additional players from the Chargers listed as inactive for the game are quarterback Easton Stick, wide receivers DJ Chark and Kimani Vidal, offensive linemen Brenden Jaimes and Jordan McFadden, along with tight end Hayden Hurst.

The Bengals also have several players unavailable, including wide receivers Charlie Jones and Isaiah Williams, safety Daijahn Anthony, linebacker Joe Bachie, and tight end Manner McLachlan.
