SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Following an impressive 60-point performance in the previous game that ended in defeat, De’Aaron Fox stepped up once again by scoring 49 points to guide the Sacramento Kings to a 121-117 triumph over the Utah Jazz on Saturday evening.

Fox showcased his skills by shooting 16 for 30 from the floor and converting 14 of 19 attempts from the charity stripe, additionally contributing nine assists and two steals. With this latest achievement, he set a new franchise record for the most points within a two-game period, eclipsing the previous mark held by DeMarcus Cousins.

Supporting Fox’s remarkable night were Kevin Huerter, who contributed 18 points, and Trey Lyles, who added 17 points. On the other side, Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 25 points, while Collin Sexton and Keyonte George chipped in with 18 and 19 points, respectively.

In a thrilling fourth quarter, the Kings surged ahead, taking a 118-116 lead thanks to a clutch 3-pointer from Jordan McLaughlin with one minute remaining. Fox made one free throw but missed the next two attempts with just 13 seconds left on the clock. Utah’s Clarkson managed to hit one of his free throws but was then penalized for a lane violation. Fox made the concluding two free throws that secured the Kings’ victory.
