LEWISBURG, Pa. — In a thrilling game that went into double overtime, Noah Williamson led the Bucknell Bison to an impressive 80-76 victory against the Richmond Spiders on Saturday. Williamson delivered a standout performance, scoring 26 points while also contributing significantly on the boards with 10 rebounds and providing five critical blocks for his team.
Alongside Williamson, Ruot Bijiek came through with a solid 20-point game and grabbed five rebounds, showcasing his scoring ability. Josh Bascoe played a pivotal role, particularly in the intense final minutes, finishing with 16 points, hitting 4 of 8 field goal attempts and 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. He was also effective on the free-throw line, converting 6 of 8 shots, and contributed with seven rebounds and six assists, demonstrating his all-around game.
On the other side, Delonnie Hunt emerged as the top scorer for Richmond, giving his team 26 points. Jonathan Beagle also had an impressive outing, scoring 23 points and pulling down eight rebounds while registering two steals. Dusan Neskovic added 11 points to the Spiders’ efforts in the contest.
