CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is anticipated to be on the field this Sunday when the team faces the Los Angeles Chargers, as confirmed by head coach Zac Taylor following the conclusion of Friday’s practice.
Higgins has been sidelined for the previous three games due to a quadriceps injury and also missed two games earlier in the season because of a hamstring problem.
Despite being designated as a franchise player for the current season, Higgins has participated in practice in a limited capacity throughout this week.
In addition to Higgins, Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson did not take part in Friday’s practice but is still expected to suit up for the game on Sunday. Hendrickson currently leads the NFL with 11 sacks, making his presence crucial for the Bengals’ defensive lineup.
