A tragic incident occurred in Los Angeles, where a newborn boy was discovered deceased in an alley. Law enforcement officials reported that the infant was likely dropped from a fourth-floor window of a nearby building.

This heartbreaking event took place in the Skid Row area during the early hours of Thursday. Skid Row is known for hosting one of the largest enduring homeless populations in the United States.

Emergency responders received a call at approximately 5:27 a.m. and pronounced the baby dead at the scene shortly after its arrival. Authorities suspect that the infant was dropped soon after birth, raising numerous questions about the circumstances surrounding the case.

In the course of the investigation, police managed to locate a woman who had been taken to a hospital for treatment of pelvic bleeding a few hours prior to the discovery of the newborn’s body. She has been detained for questioning; however, she was later released as the investigation continues.
