The Anaheim Ducks have announced that they have placed both forward Robby Fabbri and defenseman Cam Fowler on injured reserve.
This decision was made on Wednesday, just prior to their home matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights.
In response to these roster changes, the Ducks have called up center Jansen Harkins and defenseman Drew Helleson from their AHL team based in San Diego.
Fowler, who has been a key player for the Ducks this season, has missed the last two games due to an upper-body injury.
He stands out as the player with the highest ice time on the team this year and has contributed two assists in the 12 games he has played, including valuable minutes on the penalty kill.
Fabbri, who was acquired from Detroit last summer, has netted two goals in 14 games for Anaheim.
He was absent from practice on Tuesday due to an undisclosed injury, having played against Columbus just the day before.
Mason McTavish, another forward for the Ducks, also missed the game against the Blue Jackets due to an upper-body issue; however, he has not been placed on injured reserve at this time.
The Ducks recently broke a four-game losing streak with a victory, defeating Columbus 4-2 on Sunday.
With these adjustments in their lineup, Anaheim looks to build on their latest win as they prepare for their upcoming games.
