FORT COLLINS, Colo. — In a competitive matchup on Tuesday, Jalen Lake shone for Colorado State, leading the team to a 74-65 victory over Denver with an impressive performance, scoring 19 points.

Lake demonstrated his scoring prowess by hitting 7 of 10 shots from the field, including 3 out of 6 attempts from beyond the arc. He was not the only one contributing offensively; Jaylen Crocker-Johnson added 14 points and pulled down six rebounds, while Nique Clifford chipped in with 12 points, making 4 of 9 shots and successfully converting all three of his free-throw attempts.
