HATTIESBURG, Miss. — In an impressive performance, Southern Miss secured a commanding victory over Loyola-New Orleans, winning 104-65 on Tuesday night.

Cobie Montgomery emerged as a standout player for the Golden Eagles, contributing 17 points to the team’s total. Montgomery showcased his shooting prowess, going 6 for 9 overall, and an outstanding 5 for 6 from three-point range.

In addition to Montgomery’s efforts, Andre Curbelo made a significant impact, scoring 15 points while also notching five rebounds and six assists. Denijay Harris further bolstered the squad with his 14 points.

For Loyola-New Orleans, Milan Mejia led the scoring with 12 points, while Reece Seicshnaydre added nine points to the team’s efforts. Despite their competitive spirit, the Wolf Pack found it challenging to keep pace with the Golden Eagles throughout the game.
