BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In a dominating performance, Samford achieved a resounding victory over Rhodes, winning 108-52 in a game held on Tuesday night.
Riley Allenspach contributed significantly to the win, scoring 16 points and securing eight rebounds for the Bulldogs, who now hold a record of 2-1 this season.
Trey Fort also made an impact on the scoreboard, matching Allenspach’s tally with 16 points, efficiently shooting 6 for 12, which included a commendable 4 for 6 from three-point range.
Additionally, Jaden Brownell showcased his skills by going 6 of 9 from the field and finishing the game with 15 points, while also recording three blocks defensively.
On the other side, the Lynx found their leading scorer in Murray Norman, who managed to put up 13 points.
Trevor Lombard chipped in with eight points, while Sam Maddox contributed seven points and five assists to the team’s efforts.
