LEXINGTON, Va. — In an impressive display of skill, TJ Johnson led the way for the VMI Keydets in their decisive victory over Christendom, securing a 102-56 win on Tuesday evening.
Johnson delivered a standout performance, finishing the game with 23 points, alongside nine rebounds and five steals, contributing significantly to the team’s third consecutive victory, bringing their record to 3-0.
Walker Andrews also made a notable impact, putting up 20 points while shooting effectively from the field, hitting 8 of 15 attempts, including 4 out of 9 from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, Tan Yildizoglu also shone, scoring 14 points with an efficient shooting performance, hitting 5 of 7 shots and draining 4 of 6 from three-point territory.
On the other side, Edmund Thomas was the standout for the Crusaders, finishing with 18 points and eight rebounds. John Fowler contributed 13 points to the team’s efforts, while Daniel Schultz added 10 points, recorded seven rebounds, and blocked two shots, showing his defensive prowess.
