Retired tennis champion Andy Murray is set to share insights about his professional journey in a unique four-show theater tour scheduled for June 2025 across Scotland and England, as announced by his management team on Tuesday.
Murray, who notably clinched three Grand Slam titles—two of which were at Wimbledon and one at the U.S. Open—also secured two gold medals in Olympic singles. He concluded his illustrious career by finishing as the world No. 1 in the ATP rankings in 2016. His last competitive match took place on August 1 during the doubles quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics, where he faced defeat.
“After retiring from tennis this summer, I was eager to explore new avenues. I don’t believe a tennis player has embarked on something quite like this before, so it presents an exciting challenge for me,” the 37-year-old Murray expressed. He added, “It has been a while since I’ve been on a tennis court, so I hope my fans will appreciate this different experience.”
For this tour, Murray will share the stage with BBC sports presenter Andrew Cotter. They will perform four shows, beginning in Murray’s hometown of Glasgow, followed by Edinburgh, and concluding with two events in London. The final show is set for June 29, just a day before Wimbledon begins.
Murray made history in 2013 by becoming the first British man to win a singles trophy at the prestigious All England Club in 77 years.
Tickets for this much-anticipated event will go on sale starting Thursday and can be purchased through AndyMurray.com.
