In a remarkable comeback, the Chicago Bulls overcame a significant deficit to secure a 125-113 victory against the Atlanta Hawks, effectively ending their four-game losing streak on Saturday evening.
The Hawks dominated the first half, building a robust 37-24 lead in the opening quarter and even stretching their advantage to as many as 18 points at one point. However, the tide turned in the fourth quarter when the Bulls launched a powerful 14-3 run. This surge allowed them to gain their first lead of the match, 104-101, with just 7:35 remaining in regulation. From that moment onward, they maintained their lead, managing to keep the Hawks at bay.
Nikola Vucevic contributed significantly to the win, scoring 18 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds. Additionally, both Zach LaVine and Coby White matched Vucevic’s scoring output with 18 points apiece, while Josh Giddey added 13 points to the tally. Patrick Williams also played a role in the victory with 10 points.
For the Hawks, Trae Young recorded his third consecutive double-double, finishing the game with 14 points and a remarkable 16 assists. Unfortunately for Young and his teammates, the effort came up short for the second straight game, as they were unable to capitalize on his strong performance.
