ALBANY, N.Y. — In an impressive performance on Saturday night, the Albany Great Danes clinched a 89-69 victory over SUNY-Oneonta, thanks in part to DeMarr Langford Jr., who scored 18 points.
Langford was efficient, hitting 8 of 12 shots from the field and adding 2 of 3 from the free-throw line, contributing significantly to the Great Danes’ success as they moved to a 1-1 record for the season.

Byron Joshua also had an impactful night, netting 16 points along with three steals, while Kacper Klaczek provided support with 14 points, shooting 6 of 9 from the field and making 2 of 3 from beyond the arc.

On the other side, the scoring effort for the Red Dragons came from Zyeir Lawrence, who led his team with 14 points and registered two blocks.
Elijah Castillo and Xavier Hill both chipped in with 10 points each, but it was not enough to overcome Albany’s offensive firepower.

This win speaks volumes about Albany’s capability as they continue to build momentum in their season.
