In a competitive matchup on Saturday, Winthrop triumphed over Little Rock with a score of 82-67. KJ Doucet was a standout performer for the Eagles, contributing 17 points and grabbing seven rebounds to help secure the victory as Winthrop moved to a record of 2-0 for the season.

Tommy Kamarad also played a pivotal role in the Eagles’ win, scoring 13 points with an impressive shooting performance of 4 for 6 from the field, including sinking 3 out of 4 attempts from beyond the arc. Kamarad rounded out his performance with five rebounds and made 2 of his 5 free throw attempts. Additionally, Kasen Harrison added further depth to the team’s offense by scoring 13 points as well, shooting 3 for 4 from the field and converting 7 of 8 free throw attempts.
