HONOLULU — In an impressive season opener, the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors triumphed over Life Pacific with a decisive score of 96-61 on Friday night.
Akira Jacobs was a standout player, contributing significantly to the team’s victory with 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds.
Gytis Nemeiksa also made a notable impact, scoring 14 points while achieving an efficient shooting performance—making 5 of 9 shots from the floor and converting 4 of 6 attempts from the free-throw line, along with securing nine rebounds.
Kody Williams displayed his shooting prowess, finishing with 14 points as well, having an excellent shooting game where he went 5 for 7 overall and 4 for 6 from three-point range.
Additionally, Albert Matute, Rico Hopping, and Vince Fier each contributed 14 points, further bolstering the Warriors’ offensive effort and securing a robust win in front of their home crowd.
