In Seattle, five individuals were stabbed on Friday afternoon, leading to the apprehension of one suspect, according to local police reports.

The incident occurred in the Chinatown-International District, as stated by the Seattle Police Department via their social media channels.

Four of the victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment, while one individual received care on-site and was later discharged.

A representative from Harborview confirmed that the four hospitalized victims were in critical condition.

Authorities indicated that one person is currently in custody in connection to the stabbings.

Additionally, it was reported that five other individuals had been stabbed in different incidents within the same vicinity beginning early on Thursday.
