CLEVELAND – In a dominant performance, Cleveland State defeated Baldwin Wallace 91-53 on Wednesday night, thanks in part to Dylan Arnett’s impressive contribution of 19 points.

Arnett’s performance was bolstered by eight rebounds, helping the Vikings improve their record to 1-1 this season. Je’Shawn Stevenson also played a crucial role, scoring 18 points while shooting 7 of 9 from the field and making 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. Cole Franklin rounded out the scoring for Cleveland State with 15 points on 7 of 10 shooting.

For Baldwin Wallace, Ray Ellington stood out as the leading scorer, finishing the game with 20 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Teammate Andrew Griffith chipped in eight points, while Brayden Hamilton contributed five points and recorded two steals for the Yellow Jackets.

Cleveland State showcased their offensive strength and defensive prowess in this matchup, setting a strong foundation for the rest of the season.
