Republican Representative Celeste Maloy secured her reelection for a U.S. House seat from Utah on Wednesday.
This victory marks her second term, during which she will represent the western region of the state, encompassing the Salt Lake City area.
Throughout her tenure, Maloy has been active on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, as well as the House Committee on Small Business, where she works on matters significant to her constituents.
In the election, Maloy faced off against Democratic challenger Nathaniel Woodward, who serves as both an attorney and a professor.
The results were confirmed when news outlets reported Maloy’s winning status at approximately 2:57 a.m. EST, solidifying her position for another term in Congress.
