KENNESAW, Ga. — In an impressive start to the season, Kennesaw State triumphed over Toccoa Falls with a commanding score of 110-61 on Tuesday night.
Braedan Lue was a standout player, contributing 22 points and securing eight rebounds for the Owls. Ramone Seals added 18 points to the scoreboard, showcasing his shooting accuracy by hitting 6 of 10 attempts from the field, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc, along with successfully converting 3 of 6 from the free-throw line. Jamil Miller also made his mark with 17 points, having an impressive shooting night with 6 of 8 from the floor and 5 of 8 from the line.
Davon Cottle led the offense for Toccoa Falls, registering 16 points. His teammates Jeremiah Williams and Will Gray-Watson contributed as well, with Williams scoring 11 points and nabbing two steals, while Gray-Watson rounded out the scoring with 10 points.
Kennesaw State seized control of the game early, taking the lead just 46 seconds into the first half and maintaining it throughout. Lue’s first-half performance, highlighted by 14 points, propelled the team to a substantial 50-26 lead at halftime. In the second half, Seals was particularly impactful, leading his team with 15 points.
This victory marks a strong beginning for Kennesaw State as they look to build on this momentum throughout the season.
