Republican Representative Diana Harshbarger has successfully secured reelection to her U.S. House seat from Tennessee, reaffirming her position for a third consecutive term representing the state’s 1st District, which is located in the northeastern part of the state.

Harshbarger, a pharmacist by profession hailing from Kingsport, triumphed in the predominantly Republican district, surpassing Democrat Kevin Jenkins along with two independent candidates.

Throughout her tenure, Harshbarger has been an active supporter of measures aimed at impeaching President Joe Biden, focusing on issues related to the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Her victory was officially announced by media outlets at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on election night, solidifying her presence in the House as she prepares to continue her legislative efforts.
