NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In a strong season opener, Ron Jessamy led the Tennessee State Tigers to a decisive 96-66 victory over Fisk on Monday night.
Jessamy’s impressive performance included 23 points and 14 rebounds, contributing significantly to the team’s success.
Alongside him, Carlous Williams added 21 points along with seven rebounds, while Justus Jackson contributed 16 points, managing to convert four of his twelve attempts from three-point range.

On the other side, the Fisk Bulldogs had their leading scorer in Justin McNelkan, who finished with 16 points.
Michael Ashley also made a notable contribution with 10 points, while Mark Cooper rounded out the scoring with nine points and supplied four assists.
