NORFOLK, Va. — In a commanding performance, Brian Moore Jr. contributed significantly to Norfolk State’s overwhelming victory over Penn State-Wilkes Barre, scoring 18 points in their 96-41 win on Monday.
Moore’s impressive contributions also included seven assists and four steals, showcasing his all-around skills on the court. Tyrel Bladen further solidified the Spartan’s dominance with 14 points, shooting an efficient 7 of 9 from the floor, coupled with eight rebounds. Jaylani Darden also made his mark by scoring 11 points while hitting 4 of his 6 field goal attempts and going 3 for 4 from the free-throw line.
On the other side, Jedidiah Ashton was the standout for Penn State-Wilkes Barre, leading his team with 23 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Elijah Perez contributed with six points and added two steals, but the team struggled to keep pace with Norfolk State’s fast-paced offense.
