DETROIT — In an impressive start to their season, Detroit Mercy triumphed over Cleary, an NAIA opponent, with a decisive score of 91-52 on Monday evening.
Stephen Okoro was instrumental in the victory, contributing 13 points and securing 10 rebounds, showcasing his all-around skills on the court.
Orlando Lovejoy also made a notable impact, scoring 13 points on an efficient shooting night, hitting 4 of 7 attempts and sinking all four of his free throws.
Mak Manciel added to the offensive effort with 12 points, shooting 4 of 8 from the field, including a challenging 1 for 4 from beyond the arc, while also going a perfect 3 for 3 from the free-throw line.
