NEWARK, Del. — In a competitive match on Monday night, Bucknell emerged victorious with an 85-73 triumph over Delaware, showcasing a strong offensive performance.
Noah Williamson played a pivotal role in Bucknell’s success, contributing 19 points along with a noteworthy 12 rebounds. Teammate Ian Motta also made significant contributions, scoring 18 points while shooting an impressive 7 of 11 from the floor and hitting 2 of 3 free throws, alongside grabbing five rebounds. Josh Bascoe was another key performer, adding 18 points to the scoreline, including a perfect 4 for 4 from three-point range on 6 of 11 shooting.
On the other hand, Erik Timko led Delaware’s effort with a commendable 20 points. John Camden also made a notable impact, scoring 19 points and recording two blocks, while Niels Lane chipped in with 16 points.
Despite entering halftime trailing 46-37, Bucknell rallied impressively in the second half, outscoring their opponents by 21 points. The shift in momentum was spearheaded by Motta, who tallied 11 points after the break, helping secure the win for the Bison.
