BALTIMORE — Lamar Jackson showcased an impressive performance, throwing for 280 yards and three touchdowns, ultimately achieving a perfect passer rating of 158.3, as the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Denver Broncos in a convincing 41-10 win on Sunday. Derrick Henry also made headlines, eclipsing several rushing milestones during the game, adding to the Ravens’ success against a struggling Denver defense.

Despite facing challenges, Baltimore’s defense managed to secure two critical fourth-down stops early in the game, paving the way for the Ravens (6-3) to rebound from their unexpected defeat against Cleveland the previous week. Zay Flowers had a standout game, hauling in five receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Henry rushed for 107 yards and added two touchdowns of his own, marking his sixth consecutive season with over 1,000 rushing yards.

On Denver’s side, rookie quarterback Bo Nix managed to score a touchdown on a trick play. However, the Broncos (5-4) appeared underwhelmed, particularly as they faced a difficult stretch of games ahead, including a visit to Kansas City next weekend.

Derrick Henry reached significant career milestones by recording his 100th and 101st rushing touchdowns. Additionally, he made history as the third player ever to record a minimum of 10 rushing touchdowns in seven consecutive seasons, joining notable names like LaDainian Tomlinson and Adrian Peterson.

Jackson demonstrated accuracy throughout the game, completing 16 of 19 attempts. This achievement marked his fourth career perfect passer rating. Baltimore held a 17-10 lead at halftime after a field goal by Denver with just 54 seconds remaining in the second quarter. The Ravens then quickly scored again, as Flowers caught a 53-yard touchdown pass with only 16 seconds left in the first half. Shortly after halftime, Baltimore extended their lead to 31-10 thanks to a 6-yard rushing touchdown from Henry.

The Broncos had previously managed to restrict two opponents to under 20 points this season; however, they faced significant challenges against the Ravens’ offensive prowess. After absorbing an interception early in the game, Denver’s defense managed a few stops but faltered when they were denied on a fourth-and-1 attempt. The Ravens capitalized on this opportunity, driving 57 yards down the field to score first with a 7-yard run by Henry.

A second unsuccessful fourth-down attempt occurred when Nix failed to connect with an open Troy Franklin on a deep throw, allowing Baltimore to kick a field goal and extend their lead to 10-0. Denver eventually got on the board with a creative touchdown, where receiver Courtland Sutton tossed a reverse pass to Nix, who caught it at the goal line. Jackson responded promptly by connecting with Flowers again for a 7-yard touchdown, pushing the score to 17-7.

In the third quarter, fullback Patrick Ricard scored the final touchdown for the Ravens with a 3-yard catch from Jackson.

Injury updates from the game included Baltimore cornerback Marlon Humphrey returning from a knee injury that sidelined him last week. Jackson, who had faced back and knee issues leading up to the game, showed no signs of his earlier setbacks, effectively leading his team.

Looking ahead, the Broncos are set to face Kansas City next Sunday, while the Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.
