The final match of the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup is scheduled to take place on July 6 at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
This announcement was made by CONCACAF on Wednesday, revealing the chosen venue for the concluding event of the prestigious tournament.
Previously, in September, the organization outlined plans to utilize 14 venues across 11 different locations throughout the competition, which is set to commence on June 14, 2025.
Notably, the tournament will not feature any sites along the Eastern Seaboard, making room for the FIFA’s expanded 32-team Club World Cup event.

In past Gold Cups, specifically in 2021 and 2023, the U.S. fielded teams composed largely of second-string players to allow their European-based stars some much-needed rest following the intense club season.
Historically, Mexico has been the most successful nation in the Gold Cup’s history, having claimed the title nine times, with their most recent victory occurring in 2023.
The United States follows closely with seven titles, including a triumph in 2021, while Canada achieved the championship in the year 2000.

As excitement builds for the upcoming tournament, fans and players alike are looking forward to an electrifying competition that showcases the best of soccer in North America.
The 2025 Gold Cup is expected to draw significant attention, and the choice of Houston’s NRG Stadium as the final venue underscores the growing importance and popularity of soccer in the region.
