Tim Boyle steps in as Dolphins’ QB due to Tyler Huntley’s injury

INDIANAPOLIS — The Miami Dolphins faced a setback during their match against the Indianapolis Colts when starting quarterback Tyler Huntley exited the game due to a right shoulder injury.

Huntley was substituted by backup Tim Boyle after sustaining the injury in the third quarter. He was hit by Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II while attempting to throw the ball away amid significant pressure from the defense.

Following the injury, Huntley was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. During his time on the field, he completed 7 of 13 passes for a total of 87 yards, contributing one touchdown to the scoreline, and he also rushed the ball five times for 20 yards.

Compounding the Dolphins’ quarterback woes, the team’s primary starter, Tua Tagovailoa, has been on injured reserve since he suffered a concussion in Week 2. Tagovailoa is eligible for activation starting on Monday, providing a potential boost to the team if Huntley’s injury proves serious.
