DETROIT — Vice President Kamala Harris is set to join forces with Detroit-native singer Lizzo to kick off in-person early voting in the city this Saturday.

Already, over one million residents of Michigan have cast their votes by mail ahead of the elections scheduled for November 5.

Harris expressed the urgency of the electoral process during her campaign efforts in this critical state, stating, “The election is here right now.”

Later the same day, Harris will increase her star-studded support by hosting a rally in Atlanta alongside well-known singer Usher, who is anticipated to address the audience at this event.
In addition to Michigan, early voting is also in progress in Georgia, where over 1.2 million ballots have been submitted either via direct voting or through mail-in options.

Democrats are optimistic that their extensive organizing initiatives will give Harris an edge over the Republican contender, Donald Trump, as the campaign enters its final weeks.
