CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers are struggling as they head into their upcoming game against Washington, currently facing a challenging three-game losing streak accompanied by an increasing number of injuries.

The Panthers, who hold a record of 1-5, have officially ruled out several players for the game. This list includes linebackers Josey Jewell (hamstring/groin), Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), Jon Rhattigan (knee/illness), offensive tackle Taylor Moton (triceps), running back Jonathan Brooks (knee), and defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson (knee). Additionally, outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder), defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy (ankle), and safety Sam Franklin (foot) are uncertain for the match and listed as doubtful.

Moreover, the injury report continues with more names as wide receivers Diontae Johnson (ankle/ribs) and David Moore (knee), offensive tackle Yosh Nijman (knee), center Andrew Raym (concussion), cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring), safety Nick Scott (hamstring), and tight end Tommy Tremble (back) are all categorized as questionable.

The situation is further exacerbated by the earlier loss of three key starters: defensive end Derrick Brown, linebacker Shaq Thompson, and center Austin Corbett, all sidelined for the season due to injuries. Additionally, wide receiver Adam Thielen is currently on injured reserve recovering from a hamstring issue.

Diontae Johnson, who has been the leading receiver for the Panthers, faced a tough week, missing practice for two consecutive days due to an ankle injury. Unfortunately for him, a rib injury flared up during Friday’s practice, resulting in him being listed as limited. This growing list of injuries adds to the tension surrounding the Panthers as they look to turn their season around.
