Barcelona, Spain – The Barcelona soccer team is set to don specially designed jerseys featuring the logo of the renowned pop rock group, Coldplay, during their highly anticipated clasico matchup against Real Madrid.

This unique initiative is scheduled for October 26, when Barcelona travels to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of their fierce rivals. Furthermore, the women’s team will showcase the same shirts in their upcoming Spanish league match against Eibar on November 2.

In addition to sporting these eye-catching jerseys, the club will also offer limited edition versions of the shirts for sale. Proceeds from these sales are earmarked to support a collaborative project between UNHCR/ACNUR and the Barça Foundation, aimed at addressing the effects of climate change in refugee camps located in Uganda.

In recent years, Barcelona has embraced a trend of featuring the names of popular musical artists on their jerseys for clasicos. This initiative is part of their partnership with Spotify, which serves as the sponsor for both the team’s uniforms and the iconic Camp Nou stadium. Previous artists showcased on the jerseys include rock legends The Rolling Stones, Spanish singer Rosalía, and Canadian rapper Drake.
