PARIS – Yohan Cabaye, the former midfielder for France, has been appointed as the sporting director of the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy, according to an announcement made by the club on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old has an impressive track record, having represented the national team 48 times, including during the 2014 World Cup and the European Championship held in 2016. Cabaye had a stint with PSG from 2013 to 2015, racking up 57 appearances before moving to the Premier League where he played for both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.
