Arizona Democratic headquarters experiences third shooting in recent weeks, no injuries or arrests reported.

TEMPE, Ariz. — A campaign office affiliated with the Democratic National Committee in the Phoenix suburb of Tempe has experienced a third shooting incident in just a few weeks, as reported by local authorities on Wednesday.

Despite this alarming string of events, fortunately, no individuals were present in the building at the time of the shootings, and no injuries have been reported. The latest occurrence took place on Sunday shortly after midnight when gunfire was aimed at the office’s door and windows.

In response to the ongoing concern regarding safety, a reward of $1,000 has been announced for anyone who can provide information that leads to the identification or arrest of the perpetrators. However, police have not released additional details relating to this most recent attack.

Coincidentally, this shooting incident occurred just days ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris’s planned visit to Arizona for a campaign rally scheduled for Thursday. The Tempe office is part of a network of 18 field offices set up by the Democratic presidential nominee across the state.

Currently, there is no known motive for the shootings, and the police have stated that the office previously served as a barbershop. Situated in a tranquil strip mall, it is also near a daycare and a fitness center.

Authorities are actively examining the evidence collected from the scene and have implemented precautions to safeguard the individuals working in the office and those nearby.

The initial shooting incident occurred on September 16, during which the office was reportedly hit by pellet or BB gun shots. Similar to the recent shooting, real gunfire was reported in a second incident that took place on September 23.

This season of political campaigning has been marred by acts of violence, with former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, being the target of two assassination efforts: one during a rally and another at a golf course in Florida.

In light of these threats, the U.S. House has recently passed legislation aimed at requiring the U.S. Secret Service to provide the same level of protection to major presidential candidates as they do for sitting presidents and vice presidents.
