Later, with only 3:54 left in the first half, Brescia dashed into the end zone from the 1-yard line, capping off a 58-yard drive over nine plays that lasted 5 minutes and 12 seconds. On the opposing side, Jameson Wang of Cornell threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Samuel Musungu to initially give the Big Red a 10-3 lead. However, Colgate responded promptly as Stearney connected with Brady Hutchison for a 27-yard score, leveling the playing field. Wang managed to keep Cornell competitive by completing 29 of 37 passes for 313 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
