Survivors escape unharmed as small plane crashes at golf course near Denver

A small aircraft crashed and overturned on a golf course in the Denver area, with both occupants miraculously escaping unharmed, according to authorities. The incident occurred shortly after the Cessna 172 took off from Centennial Airport, located around 5 miles north of Meridan Golf Club. The South Metro Fire Rescue team mentioned that one individual sustained minor injuries but declined to be transported to the hospital, while the other person emerged from the crash unscathed. The aircraft came to rest near the seventh hole, as reported by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. An investigation into the crash will be conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office and fire rescue team.
