In Fargo, North Dakota, Cam Miller had an impressive game leading North Dakota State to a dominating 52-3 victory over Tennessee State in their home opener on Saturday. After a season-opening loss, the Bison showed their strength by scoring 52 unanswered points, with the Tigers managing only a 19-yard field goal late in the game.

Miller showcased his skills by throwing for 181 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to running for 43 yards and another score. Miller’s performance included a 24-yard touchdown run and touchdown passes of 14 yards, 12 yards, and 6 yards to help cement the Bison’s commanding lead.

The Bison’s Cole Payton also contributed with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Mekhi Collins early in the fourth quarter, further solidifying their lead. Nathan Hayes put the finishing touches on the game with a 51-yard touchdown run.

North Dakota State’s offense was led by Miller’s precise passing, completing 14 of his 18 attempts without throwing an interception. Payton added a touchdown pass to his stats, going 3 of 5 for 29 yards. Hayes made the most of his single carry, dashing for 51 yards to showcase the Bison’s offensive prowess.

On the defensive end, Tennessee State struggled to generate offense, totaling just 158 yards. Draylen Ellis led the Tigers with 128 passing yards on 17-of-25 attempts.
