The incident took place at the Forest Park station, an above-ground stop on the Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue Line. Although three victims were declared dead at the scene, the fourth victim passed away later at a hospital. The suspected shooter initially fled the scene but was later apprehended on a different train route, according to Forest Park police.
