Three individuals were wounded in a shooting incident that took place in the parking lot outside a courthouse in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on Monday morning. As of now, authorities have not disclosed the condition of the three victims. The shooting transpired outside the Hardin County Courthouse, located about 45 miles south of Louisville. The city’s police department made an announcement about the incident on social media; however, a police representative could not be reached for further statements through phone or email.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently in pursuit of the suspect, who is suspected to have fled the area following the shooting. In response to the situation, all nearby schools have been put on a “soft lockdown.”
