Los Angeles Dodgers’ player Freddie Freeman was not included in the lineup for Sunday’s game against St. Louis due to a jammed middle finger on his right hand. The injury occurred during the previous game against the Cardinals, where the Dodgers suffered a 5-2 defeat. Fortunately, X-rays showed no significant damage, but the 34-year-old first baseman is considered day-to-day.
Freeman, who boasts a batting average of .292, has hit 17 home runs and gathered 72 RBIs so far this season. His absence from the lineup was a precautionary measure to allow him time to recover from the finger injury.
