Jeff Bezos and wife Lauren Sánchez host Leo DiCaprio, Katy Perry, and other stars on lavish cruise aboard his $480 million yacht

If Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s luxurious yacht summer were a film, it would blend elements of “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Eat Pray Love,” and “The Perfect Storm” — and the adventure is far from over.

The 60-year-old billionaire and his 54-year-old fiancée are once again sailing the Mediterranean aboard Bezos’ $485 million super yacht, Koru, which features a striking figurehead on the prow resembling Sánchez. Their journey has taken them through Greece, Italy, and Spain, with a recent stop on the secluded island of Menorca in the Balearics, where they, along with other luxury yachts, sought shelter from a low-pressure storm called Dana.

The 417-ft Koru has been accompanied by its support yacht, Abeona, which carries their water toys and an entourage of A-list guests, including Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio, his 25-year-old supermodel girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, and others.

“They’re the talk of the Mediterranean this summer,” said a seasoned entertainment executive recently back from the South of France. “There’s always a new wave of high-profile yacht-goers, and this season it’s Bezos and Sánchez.”

In Rome, the world’s second-richest couple channeled classic romance, sharing a passionate kiss at the famed Trevi Fountain and tossing coins into the water, a nod to the iconic tradition.

Bezos and Sánchez have been the epitome of glamour throughout the summer, whether strolling hand-in-hand through Mykonos or riding jet skis in Greece. Their high-profile outings have included a visit to the Vatican to meet Pope Francis, where Sánchez shared on social media that the Pope reminded them “not to take life too seriously.”

Their Mediterranean adventure began in June with island-hopping in Greece, where Kim Kardashian joined them for some jet skiing and selfies. The summer also included a stop at the annual Allen & Co. conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, in July.

Recently, the couple entertained Perry, Bloom, DiCaprio, and Ceretti in Sardinia, where they lunched at a high-end beach resort before returning to the yacht. Koru, which ranks as the thirty-second largest yacht in the world, costs about $25 million annually to operate and can accommodate 18 guests with a crew of 40. Its three massive masts allow it to sail at 20 knots, making it the largest billionaire yacht that can move under sail power alone.

Bezos and Sánchez, who recently moved from Seattle to Indian Creek Island in Miami, where Bezos purchased three mansions for about $237 million, seem to have found the perfect balance between life on the sea and on land.
