Victor Robles has recently signed a new contract with the Seattle Mariners that could potentially earn him up to $22.25 million over three seasons. The deal guarantees him a total of $9.75 million for the years 2025 and 2026. As part of the agreement, Robles will receive a $1.25 million signing bonus, with salaries of $3.5 million in 2025 and $4.5 million in 2026. The 27-year-old outfielder also has the opportunity to earn $1 million annually in performance bonuses for plate appearances, with increments of $500,000 each for reaching 500 and 600 plate appearances.
In addition to his base salary and performance bonuses, Robles’ 2026 salary has the potential to increase by up to $1 million based on his plate appearances in 2025, with additional $500,000 increments for reaching 500 and 600 plate appearances. The Mariners hold a team option for 2027 valued at $9 million, along with a $500,000 buyout clause.
Having joined the Mariners on June 4 after being released by the Washington Nationals, Robles has been a valuable addition to the team, boasting a batting average of .292 with three home runs, seven doubles, eight RBIs, and 12 stolen bases in 43 games. Previously a promising prospect with the Nationals, Robles faced challenges last season, only playing in 36 games and struggling with a .120 average in 14 games before being designated for assignment on May 27. Notably, he reached 500 plate appearances in 2019 when the Nationals claimed the World Series championship title.
