Peloton fitness classes now available to Google Fitbit premium members

Peloton (NASDAQ) saw a boost in its stock price Tuesday afternoon following the announcement of a new partnership with Google’s Fitbit (NASDAQ). This collaboration will give Fitbit Premium members access to Peloton’s wide range of fitness classes, including Strength, Pilates, Running, Boxing, Cycling, Barre, and more. Some classes will also be available to Fitbit users who do not have a Premium membership.

In addition, Peloton members will be offered special deals to purchase Google Pixel Watches and Fitbit Charge 6 devices through this partnership.

“We’re thrilled to bring Peloton’s classes and world-class instructors to Fitbit users, and continue to establish Peloton as a comprehensive destination for all types of fitness content,” said Greg Hybl, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Peloton for Business.

Fitbit, acquired by Google in 2019 for $2.1 billion, had 38.5 million active users as of 2023, marking a 3.75% increase from the previous year.

Following the announcement, Peloton’s shares rose approximately 4% from Monday’s close.
