Simone Biles to Lead US Team in Gymnastics Final at Paris Olympics on Tuesday, July 30

Simone Biles leads the U.S. women’s gymnastics team into the team final at the 2024 Paris Olympics despite a calf injury. Biles, along with teammate Jordan Chiles, is set to compete in all four events with high expectations for the American team to secure the gold medal. The competition is scheduled to start at 6:15 p.m. CEST at Bercy Arena.

The U.S. women’s 3×3 basketball team, including WNBA players Dearica Hamby and Rhyne Howard, begins their title defense on Tuesday against Germany at 5:30 p.m. CEST at La Concorde. The men’s 3×3 team will also compete against Serbia.

In swimming, Katie Ledecky participates in the women’s 1,500-meter freestyle, aiming to defend her title. The women’s 100 backstroke final and the men’s 800 free final are also among the events scheduled for Tuesday at the Paris La Defense Arena. The men’s 4×200 free relay will conclude the swimming finals later in the day.

Additionally, the women’s rugby sevens competition will feature the gold and bronze medal matches on Tuesday. Teams like New Zealand, China, Britain, the United States, France, and Canada are set to participate in these matches, adding excitement to the day’s events. The bronze match is set to start at 7 p.m. CEST, followed by the gold medal match at 7:45 p.m.
