Three individuals were discovered deceased following an apartment fire early Monday morning in Ahwatukee, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. According to Phoenix Fire Department Captain Todd Keller, firefighters arrived at the scene around 6:45 a.m. and found three adults in a second-floor bedroom of a three-story apartment complex. Unfortunately, the individuals were unresponsive and could not be revived.
The victims, thought to be two women and one man, have not yet been identified by authorities. Captain Keller mentioned that the Fire Investigations Task Force of the Phoenix Fire Department and Phoenix Police are collaborating to investigate the cause of the fatal fire. Ahwatukee is located approximately 13 miles (20 kilometers) southeast of Phoenix.
