Two Delta Air Lines flights encountered mechanical issues over the weekend, resulting in both aircraft being diverted, as confirmed by the Federal Aviation Administration on Monday.
Delta flight 927 was traveling from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Atlanta when it was diverted to St. Louis on Saturday due to a cabin pressure problem. Thankfully, none of the 148 passengers or six crew members onboard were injured, and they were accommodated on a different flight to Atlanta later the same day.
Similarly, Delta flight 1950, originally heading to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, from Atlanta, had to turn back to Atlanta around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday after the crew reported a potential mechanical issue. Passengers were later rebooked on another flight to St. Thomas, with no reported injuries.
Both flights involved Boeing 757-200 planes, according to Delta Airlines.
