George and Amal Clooney, with a staggering fortune of $570 million, possess multiple properties within their impressive real estate portfolio.
They tied the knot in September 2014 and currently own residences in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy’s Lake Como. Their latest acquisition in 2021 was an exquisite 18th-century chateau situated on a 425-acre wine estate in Provence.
Despite being parents to twins Alexander and Ella, aged seven, George, 63, and Amal, 46, might bid farewell to their magnificent abode in Brignoles due to the upcoming major project of the renowned actor.
Could the Clooneys be departing from France?
As per a publication by French magazine Closer, the couple may temporarily vacate their beautiful Brignoles residence for a period in New York within the forthcoming year.
By the spring of 2025, George is set to make his debut on Broadway in the stage version of his 2005 movie Good Night and Good Luck.
The report indicates that George’s commitments in the metropolis imply that they will exchange their chateau for a New York City apartment and enroll their children in a different school.
Nonetheless, the odds are that their relocation will not be permanent. George and Amal have a deep affection for French culture and the rural serenity they relish.
It seems more plausible that they will continue to keep their Brignoles residence and visit during breaks from George’s theatrical performances, returning once his Broadway stint wraps up.
Since acquiring their Brignoles property in 2021, the family has settled in seamlessly. A French publication, In Touch, highlighted George and Amal’s inclination towards raising their children predominantly in France. The town’s lifestyle offers them seclusion and peace, catering to the couple’s preference for a more laid-back setting compared to the frenzy of metropolitan areas. George even mentioned that his kids are fluent in French.
Furthermore, as reported by Paris Match, George took measures to plant 172 hectares of olive trees around his home due to concerns about the lack of boundaries.
