From Jeff Bezos To Prada, the Milan Fashion Week was a huge success for men’s wear

Milan Fashion Week has commenced in 2024, featuring menswear brands and drawing attention from fashion enthusiasts and billionaires alike.

In the first three days of this week-long extravaganza, the fashion world has been captivated by a display of knits, statement coats, and a plethora of celebrities flocking to the Italian city for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection runway shows.

The week began with a stunning runway show by Gucci, showcasing statement monogram bags, uniformed suiting, and nostalgic nods to the brand’s rich history, encompassing leather jackets, workwear shirts, and patterned sweaters. DSquared2 followed suit with a glamorous presentation, featuring rock star styles, oversized trapper-like hats, traditional knits, leather blazers, and jeans.

One of the key aspects of attending fashion week is the exploration of new brands. Among them is ViaPiave33, co-founded by siblings Francesca and Alessandro Spaggiari alongside Elisa Bettella. The brand embodies a quiet luxury ethos with a sustainable twist, crafting many items from organic deadstock. Their collection includes minimalist outerwear, athleisure, knits, as well as offerings in home decor and skincare.

Another standout was Land, unveiling their inaugural fashion show with a collection subtly inspired by Berlin. The metallic jackets took center stage, set against a techno-infused backdrop in a sprawling Milanese warehouse. The brand’s logo, featuring a north star-like cross enclosed in a circle with the brand name, adds a touch of elegance to their pieces. This emblem is elegantly displayed on silver metallic pants, symbolizing an adventurous spirit and wanderlust.

As Milan Fashion Week unfolds, it promises to be a showcase of creativity, innovation, and the latest trends in the world of menswear. Stay tuned for more highlights from this highly anticipated event.
